A practical guide to building AI automation on WhatsApp with open-source and no-code tools.

This talk presents a practical approach to implementing AI automation through WhatsApp from scratch, using open-source and no-code technologies such as Evolution API, n8n, Typebot, and Chatwoot. Attendees will learn how to set up a complete workflow, from integrating the WhatsApp API to building AI-powered conversational chatbots. A live demo will be included showing: 1) setting up Evolution API with Docker to connect WhatsApp, 2) orchestrating flows in n8n to process messages and connect external services, 3) designing conversational interactions in Typebot, and 4) managing conversations at scale with Chatwoot. In addition, common technical challenges such as session management in WhatsApp, workflow optimization, and integration with external AI models will be addressed. Participants will gain a clear understanding of the internals of each tool, their limitations, and how to customize them for real-world use cases, with practical examples and lessons learned from previous implementations.
